We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00am and take you to a very special safari park in Tanzania. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The Tarangire safari park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent), which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river in the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, African elephants. In fact, Tarangire has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey west through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the southern Serengeti. Along the way, stop at the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a breathtaking panoramic view of this extraordinary volcanic caldera.
Continue toward the Ndutu Area, located in the southern Serengeti and renowned for its spectacular wildebeest calving season. The landscape is characterized by lush grasslands, flat-topped acacia trees, shallow alkaline lakes, and abundant birdlife, creating an ideal setting for wildlife photography.
As you approach Ndutu, keep your camera ready for your first encounters with thousands of wildebeest and their newborn calves. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals are often drawn to the area during the calving season, creating exceptional opportunities for dramatic wildlife sightings and photography.
Enjoy game viewing along the way as you make your way to your camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night surrounded by the remarkable wilderness of the southern Serengeti.

🏕️ Accommodation: Sero Tented Camps

Today is dedicated to a full day of wildlife exploration in the Ndutu Area, at the heart of the southern Serengeti’s wildebeest calving grounds. With plenty of time in the African bush, you can explore the savannah at a relaxed pace while searching for newborn wildebeest calves and the diverse wildlife that gathers around the migration.
Keep your camera ready as we follow the migratory herds of wildebeest and zebras and watch for predators moving through the grasslands. Ndutu is particularly renowned for cheetah sightings, while lions, hyenas, and other predators are frequently encountered during the calving season.
You can choose to return to camp for lunch and some relaxation or enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location in the wilderness. Having lunch surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Serengeti is an authentic safari experience and a memorable opportunity for photography.
After a full day of game viewing and photography, return to camp in the evening for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Today you will have the half-day game drive in Ndutu, and then later on in the day you will proceed to Serengeti National Park, the world’s last great wildlife refuge, as it contains an estimated three million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature’s wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq km, and the name ‘Serengeti’ comes from the Maasai ‘Siringet,’ meaning ‘endless plains.’

Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise game drive in the Central Serengeti, when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light creates excellent conditions for photography. Explore the Seronera Valley, renowned for its abundant wildlife and year-round concentration of predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.
After the game drive, return to camp for a delicious brunch before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the changing scenery as you leave the vast Serengeti plains and travel through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
The magnificent Ngorongoro Crater is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable natural wonders. Its diverse ecosystem includes open grasslands, forests, wetlands, rivers, and a soda lake that attracts abundant birdlife. The crater supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.
Arrive at your accommodation in the Ngorongoro area in time to relax and enjoy the spectacular surroundings before dinner and an overnight stay.
