Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi

You are met at the airport upon arrival by our representative and transfer to Ibis Style Hotel for overnight bed and breakfast.

Day 2 Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast at the hotel and at 7 am, then you are picked up and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch, depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp/lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner and ample time for rest.

Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. The phenomenal wildebeest migration event, seen in Maasai Mara, is a wonder of the world.

Day 3 Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve

Spend a full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have a picnic lunch in the reserve seated at the banks of the Mara river.

Optional: In the evening, visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. An overnight at the Masai village can be organised upon request. A balloon safari can be organised early morning on this day. In the Mara, perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place, the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 4 Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy the last early morning game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve followed by breakfast. Thereafter, check out and commence the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch.
After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game viewing in the park.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate National Park

Early morning game viewing in Lake Nakuru National Park. Thereafter, return to the camp for breakfast. At 9 am, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
After lunch, you will go to Hell’s Gate for a biking safari. If you are too tired, you will be driven into the park with a car.

In the evening, go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Day 6 Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Pick up from the hotel in the morning. Drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery against the  backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Proceed to your lodge for check in, in time for lunch. Check in at Kibo Safari Camp in Amboseli and have lunch and a short rest. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents, like the well known predators and their opponents: the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and hippo.

Day 7 Full day game drive in Amboseli

Early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. Later, return back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for a full day spent in the park with packed lunch in search of wildlife.

Day 8 Amboseli – Nairobi

Early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. Later, return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi. When you arrive you will be dropped off at your hotel or the Airport.

Booking Conditions

Safari Bookings

Bookings and contracts shall be estimated to have been concluded in Arusha, Tanzania and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. The company exclusively reserves the right to deny any booking without reasonably outlining the reasons for it.

Deposit & Payment

Once you have agreed to the safari holiday arrangements with us a 40% of the total tour amount is required upfront to confirm a booking. This deposit forms part of the payment for the trip and shall be offset to the total amount charged to the client/agent.

However, clients or agents booking prior to four weeks of the departure of the tour are required to pay the amount in full to secure their reservation. If the full amount is Failure to pay full amount prior to four weeks of departure of the tour will result in cancellation of the booking and the deposits will also be forfeited.

All bank and other transactional charges have to be settled by the agent or client respectively. This also includes the transaction fees charged by our bank.

Cancellations

Cancellations have to be sent in writing. Cancellation shall be effective only from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. In case of a booking cancellation, the company will be in the position of retaining the full deposit amount.

In case of a booking cancellation, the client will be subjected to a cancellation fee which is as follows:

  • 4 weeks prior to departure – 30% Cancellation Fee
  • 4-2 weeks prior to departure – 50% Cancellation Fee
  • 2-1 weeks prior to departure – 75% Cancellation Fee
  • Less than 1 week prior to departure – 100% Cancellation Fee

The company reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole and absolute discretion with our without prior notification in any kind of unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, refund of full amount will be made by the company.

Authority On Tour

The decisions of the Company’s guide/driver on tour shall at all times be final and binding. The client must at all times comply and meet with the laws, customs, and foreign exchange regulations of all countries visited.

Passports, Visas and Other Travel Papers

It is the client’s responsibility to make sure all the essential documentations required for your travel in Tanzania are in order. Ernest Magic Tours & Safaris cannot be held liable for any consequences resulting a client’s not having all required documentation prior to the starts of the tour.

Risk

The client accepts the tours are in adventurous nature and will involve individual personal risk. Ernest Magic Tours & Safaris cannot be held responsible for any property damaged, injury, loss of life howsoever caused. The client accepts full responsibility for all risks involved.

Marketing

Ernest Magic Tours & Safaris reserves the right to use any photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing or advertising. The client do gives approval to use such photos and authorises the company to preserve copyright or such materials.
