We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00am and take you to a very special safari park in Tanzania. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The Tarangire safari park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent), which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river in the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, African elephants. In fact, Tarangire has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

Early in the morning after breakfast, we depart for Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands, which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s oldest national park, and it is also one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely untouched for millions of years. While the Serengeti boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope, move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The precise timing of the migration is entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year.

After breakfast, head toward the far northern reaches of the Serengeti, around the Wagakuria and Kogatende areas. Enjoy an en-route game drive from Lobo as you travel through the changing landscapes of the Northern Serengeti.
Keep your camera ready for sightings of giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, and other plains game. The region is also a key area of the Great Wildebeest Migration, when vast herds of wildebeest move through the Serengeti in search of fresh grazing, accompanied by zebras and other antelopes.
Migration movements depend largely on rainfall and grazing conditions. From around July to September, large herds may reach the Northern Serengeti and gather near the Mara River, creating opportunities to witness dramatic river crossings.
After lunch and an exciting afternoon game drive, continue to your partner camp for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

🏕️ Accommodation: Mara Mara Tented Lodge

After an early breakfast, continue your game drive through the Northern Serengeti, one of the key areas of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may have the opportunity to witness the dramatic Mara River crossing, one of the most spectacular sights in the Serengeti.
Watch as wildebeest and zebras gather along the riverbanks before making their way across the powerful currents. The crossing is a challenging and dangerous part of the migration, with some animals losing their lives along the way.
Spend the full day exploring the Northern Serengeti, with excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. After an exciting day in the wilderness, return to camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a relaxed morning drive toward Central Serengeti, spend the day exploring the wildlife-rich Seronera Valley. This area is renowned for excellent year-round game viewing, with opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, often near rocky kopjes that provide ideal vantage points across the surrounding plains.
Keep an eye out for other wildlife, including buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, impalas, topis, warthogs, and zebras. After an exciting day of game viewing, continue to your carefully selected tented camp for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, enjoy an en-route game drive through the Serengeti National Park as you make your way toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descend approximately 610 meters to the crater floor and explore this extraordinary natural wonder.
Formed millions of years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed, the Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its stunning scenery and remarkable concentration of wildlife. Its diverse habitats support large numbers of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, elephants, and more than 500 bird species.
Keep your eyes open for the endangered black rhino, which may be spotted grazing across the open grasslands. After a picnic lunch and an extensive game drive inside the crater, ascend and continue to your comfortable lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
