Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Your Kenya and Tanzania safari begins with an early morning pickup from Nairobi Airport. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley and stop at a viewpoint for panoramic views and photographs before continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Enjoy a game drive as you enter the park and travel toward your lodge or camp. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its birdlife, including flamingos, as well as wildlife such as black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, baboons, and other plains game.

Arrive at your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy the scenic journey through Kenya’s countryside before arriving at the reserve, known for its rolling grasslands and abundant wildlife.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, gazelles, and numerous bird species.

Day 3: Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari

Spend a full day exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with excellent opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife.

You may also choose an optional Maasai village visit or a hot-air balloon safari, offering a unique perspective of the Mara followed by a breakfast on the plains.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Isebania Border – Serengeti

After breakfast, check out and depart for the Isebania border between Kenya and Tanzania with a packed lunch. Complete the border formalities and meet your Tanzanian safari team before continuing to Serengeti National Park.

Upon entering the Serengeti, enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way toward your lodge or camp. Keep watch for wildlife across the vast Serengeti plains.

Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a full-day Tanzania safari in the legendary Serengeti National Park. Explore the vast plains and diverse habitats on exciting game drives, searching for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife.

Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may also have the opportunity to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, check out and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a packed lunch. Continue through the scenic highlands before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive.

Explore the crater floor, home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, flamingos, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

After the game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Namanga Border – Amboseli

After an early breakfast, depart for the Namanga border, traveling through Arusha and the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania. At the border, complete immigration formalities and exchange vehicles before continuing into Kenya.

Proceed to Amboseli National Park with a packed lunch. Arrive in the afternoon for an exciting game drive, with opportunities to see large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 8: Amboseli – Nairobi – Airport

Continue to Nairobi and transfer to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya and Tanzania safari.
