Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

You will be picked up from the airport by Ernest Magic Tours & Safaris representative, who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha, where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your Tanzania safari begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 AM, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, one of northern Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations.

Famous for its towering baobab trees, diverse landscapes, and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year. During your game drive, look out for lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, and a variety of bird species along the Tarangire River.

Enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a full-day game drive with excellent opportunities to spot large lion prides, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, and other wildlife. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, including the spectacular calving season.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive. After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing, head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active. Enjoy the beautiful morning scenery while searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Return to camp for a delicious brunch before continuing your journey.

After brunch, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and explore the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most iconic natural wonders. The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.

Take in the stunning crater landscapes of open grasslands, forests, wetlands, and the soda lake. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a memorable Ngorongoro sundowner before dinner and your overnight stay.
